John Gadow

Painter

This show is full of abstracted scenes of San Francisco which play with light and dark movement, as well as a representation of form and the complex web of life in the city. The concrete structures and distorted figures mirror the flex of variation within the undulating reality of abundance and depravity amongst city dwellers. Captured in oil paints and gouache, you can feel the struggle and reward systems of life played in the strong brush strokes and color palette of this local artist with his observations and renderings of San Franciscan life.
